FAGL_OFFSET_ACCOUNT_ADMIN - Preparation for Determination of Offsetting Account Information

Purpose

This program is used to maintain administrative data necessary for determining offsetting account information of historical data.

Integration

Prerequisites

You must maintain a strategy for the offsetting account determination before executing this program. You can access this maintenance through transaction FAGL_OFFSET.

Features

The process for determining offsetting account information uses a copy of FI document key information from table BKPF to enable smooth conversion of all data.

Insert Entries

As a first step, run the program with processing option Insert Entries.

This will read the current entries in BKPF and insert them into working table BKPF_CNV_GKONT. The table contains the field DONE which is updated for each document once it has been processed.

You should run this program as a batch job without restrictions for preparation of a productive conversion. For test purposes you can also start the program with restrictions in order to create a small subset of test data.

Display Processing Status

This processing option provides you with an overview of the data in table BKPF_CNV_GKONT (number of entries per company code and year, separated by processed entries and entries still to be processed). This may help you with planning your productive conversion based on the data volume.

Reset Entries

If you run the program with this processing option, the status of the entries in table BKPF_CNV_GKONT will be reset, i.e. all entries according to your selection restrictions will be set to be processed again.

Delete Entries

Running the program with this processing option will delete the corresponding entries from BKPF_CNV_GKONT.
