Purpose

The groups used in companies, such as cost center groups or profit center groups, change from time to time. Sometimes, new cost centers are added to a cost center group, or some cost centers become obsolete.

This program updates the groups that you use in rules for validating the account assignment combinations. It checks the groups that have been changed and updates the validation rule entries where necessary.

If you use groups in validation rules, you need to program this program to run periodically.
