Purpose

You can use this report to display the messages issued for processed source document items during a migration run from operational systems to Revenue Accounting. This report supports only migrations using Contract Management.

All the messages are stored in the application log and can be accessed with a limited search function with the standard transaction SLG1:

  • Object: FARR
  • Sub-Object: DATA_MIGRATION

This report allows you to perform a search based on parameters that the standard application log transaction does not provide. In this way, you can, for example, find messages uniquely for requested message classes, for specific sender components, or for a set of source document IDs. Furthermore, this report allows data to be exported to an Excel document for further analysis.

Integration

Prerequisites

To run the report, you need to have authorization for object S_APPL_LOG with activity 03 (Display).

Features

You can select the option Download Results to PC on the selection screen to directly export the output data into an Excel file without displaying it in an ALV grid first. By doing so, you're not limited to the maximum number of rows of the ALV grid and can instead work with all relevant messages in the Excel file.
