Purpose

With this program, you can derive cash flows and relevant information from accounting line items (Financial Operations) and Material Management (MM) and store the results to the One Exposure from Operations hub for analytical purposes. It helps you do the following:

  • For accounting line items:
  • Generate cash flows by loading accounting transactions from database table BKPF and BSEG to the One Exposure from Operations hub (database table FQM_FLOW)

  • Derive important attributes that can be used to analyze the source and use of cash by building document chains in a bi-directional way

  • The attributes include but not limited to liquidity item, house bank account, WBS element, profit center.

  • For Material Management:
  • Generate cash flows by loading Material Management transactions (purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and scheduling agreements) from MM database tables, such as EKKO, EKEP, EKKN, and so on, to the One Exposure from Operations hub (database table FQM_FLOW)

Integration

The program integrates with posting accounting documents, purchasing order, schedule agreement or purchasing requisition.

Prerequisites

You have configured the Customizing activities under the following nodes:

  • Financial Supply Chain Management -> Cash and Liquidity Management -> Liquidity Items
  • Financial Supply Chain Management -> Cash and Liquidity Management -> Flow Types
  • In addition, if you want to include return items into the calculation of Cash Management, make sure you have implemented the Business Add-In BAdI: Commitment for Return Items.

Features

Selection

You select one running type. Delta Run should be only used for background execution as the program can process upon change of an accounting document.

You select one source application and enter selection criteria for accounting documents or materials management objects respectively.

You select various runtime parameters. Refer to documentation of these parameters.
