Purpose

This is a test report for the FEH Payload Editor to test the handling of data references in the Payload Editor.

It either generates an FEH payload that contains data references and an according PPO order or it generates transient data that contains references (by providing an implementation of the payload provider interface IF_FEH_PAYLOAD_PROVIDER to the Payload Editor).

It automatically starts the payload editor for the test data.

Integration

Test report FEH_TEST_SFLIGHT_TDC generates FEH payloads without data references.

Prerequisites

Check the prerequisites as described in report FEH_TEST_SFLIGHT_TDC.

Features

Selection

  • Parameter FEH Scenario (create Payload) : If this parameter is set, then this report generates a test payload and according PPO order. It automatically starts the Payload Editor for the payload. In the context of payloads, only references to data "outside" the data structures of the payload are generated due to the XML transformation. The data type of the payload has to be a DDIC type.
When you navigate back from the Payload Editor, it displays the GUID of the payload (=GUID of the PPO order).
  • Parameter Generic Data Editing (no DB): If this parameter is set, then this report generates transient data that can be maintained in the payload editor. In this scenario, references to data outside as well as to data inside the data structures are generated. The report uses program local data types as well as DDIC types to define the data structures.
Please note that this data is not persisted on the database and cannot be saved in the payload editor either.
