Purpose

In prior releases, selections are maintained and used separately for validation and non-validation features in SAP S/4HANA Cloud for group reporting. Starting from SAP S/4HANA Cloud 1905, selections are unified and stored in the following database tables:

  • FINCS_USEL
  • FINCS_USELT
  • FINCS_USELOPT

The selections for non-validation features were stored in the following old database tables:

  • FINCS_SELHDR
  • FINCS_SELT
  • FINCS_SELITM

The data conversion program migrates these selections from the old tables to the unified tables.

Note: If a migrated selection has an identical ID with an existing selection in the new tables, the suffix ‘_COPY’ is added automatically to the ID of the migrated selection.

Activities

During the system upgrade from 1902 to 1905, selections should be converted from the old tables into the unified tables using the XPRA object: FINCS_XPRA_CORE_SEL_REPLICATOR.
