FINCS_XPRA_MGC_16X_200 - Data conversion for version and cons unit master data

Purpose

The XPRA program converts consolidation versions and consolidation units.

The master data of consolidation versions (table TF200) is extended by the assignment of a group currency and an accounting source ledger, which was assigned to the consolidation ledger previously. Moreover, consolidation versions are classified as standard versions and a default run mode is set.

From the existing combinations of special versions for data entry, taxes, and currency translation, values for the new special version for consolidation unit attributes are derived and assigned to the existing consolidation versions.

In the new tables for the consolidation unit master data we have a harmonized time and version dependency (only the new special version for consolidation unit attributes is used).

The master data of consolidation units is relocated from tables TF160 - TF169 to tables FINCS_BUNIT, FINCS_BUNITT, FINCS_BUNIT_ATD, FINCS_BUNIT_ATVD. The derived values for the new special version for consolidation unit attributes are used.

Integration

Prerequisites

The XPRA only runs in clients in which the from year for new group reporting logic is specified.

To guarantee a successful conversion of consolidation versions and consolidation units, a 1:1 assignment of consolidation ledgers to consolidation versions is required.

In case the prerequisite of a 1:1 assignment of consolidation ledgers to consolidation versions is not met, the XPRA will report an error message. The affected consolidation versions are disclosed in the XPRA log then.

SAP Note 2901554 explains how to repair the non-recommended assignment of ledgers to versions and how to repeat the conversion program.
