FINOC_RUN_SIMULATION - Organizational Change: Simulation Run

Purpose

In this step, you can simulate the organizational change and then preview transfer postings between old and new profit centers in a simulation ledger. You can also check the complete list of affected master data.

Selection

On the selection screen, you first enter the ID for the organizational change you want to simulate. Then, you can select further options.

Organizational Change:

Enter an organizational change ID or select an ID from the value help (F4).

Further Options:

• Display Log:

Select this option to display the application log after the simulation run.

• % Max Available Work Processes:

This parameter defines the maximum number of ABAP (dialog) work processes, which are used by the SHDB parallel processing framework (PFW) in the Parallel Application Method. Enter a number without the percentage symbol. For example, enter 50 instead of 50%.

• Run in Dialog:

This parameter enables different modes of parallel processing. If you select this option, no parallel processing is performed for test purposes. If this option isn't selected, asynchronous remote function call (RFC) on dialog processes is performed.
