FINS_CFIN_CO_MAPPING_CLEANUP - Delete Mapping and Cost Objects in Central System

Purpose
Sometimes, during order master data replication, you need to clean up the existing assignments and created cost objects. In this Customizing activity, you can clean up and delete assignments and cost objects.
This activity only deletes the cost objects; it does not delete the master data and transactional data that refer to the cost objects. Assignments are deleted synchronously, and cost objects are deleted asynchronously. Once an assignment or cost object is deleted, you cannot undo the deletion.
Integration
Prerequisites
You have correctly configured the order replication related settings, and already started the replication of data. The assignments and central cost objects are created in the central system.
Cost objects are not deleted in the following circumstances:
- The cost object is used by one or more controlling documents.
- The cost object is not created by the Cost Object Mapping framework.

Activities
- Select the scenario that you want to cleanup.
- Enter the logical system ID.
- Note: If you do not enter a logical system ID, cost object mapping from all logical systems are deleted.
- Select the Test Runcheckbox if you want to run a simulation.
- Click on the Execute button to perform the deletion.
- The system displays the summarized results. To check the details, click on the message numbers.
