Purpose
Use this app to view errors that occurred during the automatic revenue recognition process. Real-time issues may occur for example due to missing master data, costs that were not maintained, incomplete or wrong configuration, or a closed fiscal period. After you have corrected the errors, you can reprocess the items in order to clear them from the list . Resolving all errors is the prerequisite for executing the period-end run in the Run Revenue Recognition apps.
Show Error Summary: Displays unique errors that occurred during the revenue recognition process grouped by object, error message, and company code. It is possible to download the list of errors (xlsx. file)
Reprocess: Reprocesses the log items. After resolving the errors, use this action to clear the items from the list.
Reprocess and Skip Errors: Reprocesses the items and clears them from the list. Any remaining errors are ignored. Use this action only if there are errors that can’t be resolved. When you execute this action, documents are not reprocessed one by one but one document with cumulative data is generated. Hereby, data is not stored and this will lead to a loss of important details in the posted financial accounting documents that are necessary for the full full reporting process in financial accounting. venue recognition for all logged real-time issues.
