Purpose

This program is delivered with Cloud release CE 2105. It does two things:

  1. It fills tables FINSC_VAL_RSFF and FINSC_VAL_RSFR by copying the content from the other tables FINSC_VAL_GRSFF and FINSC_VAL_GRSFF.
  2. It updates open customizing transports.

Background:
In release CE 2105 two customizing views were replaced in the viewcluster FINSVC_VAL_GRPRL:

  • FINSV_VAL_GRSFF was replaced by FINSV_VAL_RSFF
  • FINSV_VAL_GRSFR was replaced by FINSV_VAL_RSFR.

These are the customizing views for maintaining grouping rules for advanced valuation runs.
Reason: the persistence tables for storing filter conditions for rules of advanced valuation runs has been changed: formerly the tables or filter conditions were specific for grouping rules, but now they are generic for all different types of rules used by advanced valuation runs.
In Cloud, no SSCUI exists yet for grouping rules, so it is uncritical to change the persistence table.
But to keep the advanced valuation programs running correctly, the content of the tables is copied; this way the runs will work correctly even if the content deployment for the new tables was not yet done.
Also for OnPrem test systems it is important to copy the existing table content, because there can be already customizing content in OnPrem systems: A user can use the IMG activities to maintain the grouping rules and their filter conditions.
Concerning the 2. activity, the correction of open customizing transports:
Issue: In customer systems, especially in Cloud systems, there can be non-released customizing transports that were created before the upgrade to CE 2105. These open old transports can contain table entries for the obsolete views. The same can occur in OnPrem systems.
After upgrade to CE 2105 release of these old customizing transports would fail because the transport object of the viewcluster FINSVC_VAL_GRPRL in TA SOBJ does not contain the obsolete views (by intent); this inconsistency is detected by TA SE09 during transport release. In addition to deleting table entries from the customizing transport, in the transport the table entries of the new views need to be added to the transport, in transport table E071K.
