Purpose

You need to retrigger replication of individual FI/CO postings from the source system to Central Finance.

For example, it might be necessary to resend records from the source system in the following cases:

1),,No corresponding AIF message was created because replication via SLT was not successful.

2),,The corresponding AIF message is corrupt and can’t be successfully posted. Thus you need to cancel the AIF message and recreate it.

3),,You accidently cancelled an AIF message and need to recreate it.

This report should be used with care and only when necessary. It should be done under the guidance of a support user and should not be executed by a business user or administrator on a regular basis. You should be careful not to send the same postings multiple times as this can result in duplicate error messages. Also note that, the original error messages will remain in the target system in AIF even if the new postings processed with this report are posted successfully.

Note that when records based on transaction type ‘U’ are posted, it is essential to ensure that subsequent document changes are posted in the correct order, if changes have been made to the same field.

Prerequisites

The user has authorization to execute the report in SE38.

The user has read access authorization for the relevant company codes.

The user has been assigned to the role ‘SAP_IUUC_REPL_ADMIN’.

The postings should already exist in the CFIN table in the source system.

Features

This report enables the end user to transfer individual postings again from the source to the target system by simply adding the entry into the logging table of SLT.

A set of parameters is provided on the selection screen with which the user can find the postings they need to send again.

Selection

A few of the selection parameters are explained in detail below.

GUID: CFIN Transaction GUID. This is a unique identifier for each financial transaction that has been posted in the source system and that is to be replicated to the Central Finance system.

User name: The user who created the document

Entry date: The entry date defaults to today’s date. This can be changed or deleted as necessary.

Time of entry: This time the document was created in the source system.

Configuration GUID: Configuration GUID is maintained in the log table IUUC_1N_CONS_REG. This GUID is the unique identifier ID of the target system. If you make an entry in the Configuration GUID field, the document is posted only to those target systems for which the configuration GUID is maintained. This selection field is visible only in expert mode.

Selection Block: Creation Timestamp

This block has four fields: Date From, Date To, Time From, Time To.

For the ‘Time From’ and ‘Time To’ fields, you should note that the system interprets times entered as belonging to the UTC time zone, regardless of whichever time zone your system actually operates on.

Together, the values in the fields Date From and Time From are converted into the lower boundary timestamp and the values in the fields Date To and Time To are converted into the upper boundary.

The following explains the system behavior depending on which fields are filled:

1),,If only the Date From and Date To are filled then the system takes whole days into account, that is from 00:00:00 (beginning of the day) to 23:59:59 (end of day).

2),,If only the Date From and Time From are filled, then all the postings after this timestamp onwards are selected.

3),,If all fields are filled, then the records between the lower and upper boundary including the boundary values are selected.

4),,If only the Date From and Time From and the Date To is selected, then the system selects the records between the lower boundary (Date From Time From) and the upper boundary (Date To) and defaults the end time to 23:59:59). Here it also includes the boundary values.

Output

The output displays a list of documents that were posted from the source system for the options made on the selection screens. Select the relevant documents from the list and choose “Post” to resend the documents to the Central Finance system.
