Purpose

Conversion to SAP S/4HANA is accompanied by the use of the long material number used in the SAP Discrete Industries and Mill Products (DIMP) solution instead of the standard SAP ERP material number. This means that the internal material number, which is stored in the material number fields (data element MATNR), can directly be replaced by the external material number, which used to be stored in the mapping table MATERIALID. Therefore the access of the mapping table is not necessary anymore.

This XPRA enables the use of the DIMP long material number for profit center monitor. In itemization-table KE1_WU_ITEM field OBJNR is filled with MATNR when ke1_wu_item-appl = 'MA'. In this case OBJNR must be converted to long MATNR.

Integration

Prerequisites

The DIMP long material number is active in the system being converted.

Features

If the XPRA is canceled for any reason a restart is possible. The XPRA will then convert all leftovers from the previous run.
