Purpose

This report moves existing ledgers to the new tables for the cash ledger. All data from the Funds Management tables (FMGLFLEXT, FMGLFLEXA, FMGLFLEXP, etc.) is written in the corresponding PS tables. The assignment of the relevant ledger is then changed from totals record table FGLFLEXT to PSGLFLEXT.

Additionally or alternatively, you can create new ledgers with the corresponding scenarios.

Integration

• You have activated the cash ledger and/or use budget periods. Both functions can only be used together with totals record table PSGLFLEXT.

• You do not need to move existing ledgers as the update for old totals record table does not change. The decision to move old ledgers depends on your requirements. If you are unsure, contact SAP support.

Prerequisites

This report locks all users in the system. However, you should make sure that nobody wants to execute any postings whilst the report is running.

We recommend that you run this report in the test mode to get an idea of how long runtime is. Runtime will vary by a matter of hours depending on your system requirements and the number of data records to be processed.
