Description

This routine sets the time unit of measure as weeks (a week being seven days, that is, including the weekend). The start and end dates of the "fixation period" are then determined using the unit of measure and the 'period before' and 'period after' fields.

Output

With the 'Exclude event date' indicator not set:

'Period after' not zero.

The 'date from' is determined by subtracting the number of weeks from the event date.

The 'date to' is determined by starting with the event date, adding 'period after' weeks and going back one day.

'Period before' not zero, but 'period after' zero.

The end date is set to the event date. The 'date from' is determined by taking the event date, subtracting 'period before' weeks and adding one day.

'Period before' and 'period after' are zero.

'Date to' and 'date from' are both set to the event date.

With the 'Exclude event date' indicator set.

The date determined from and 'date to' is determined as explained above. Only if one of the 'period before' and 'period after' is zero and the other is not, will the time frame that was determined be shifted by one day, so that the event date is excluded.
