FQM_INITIAL_BALANCE_UPLOAD - Import Initial Balances
PERFORM Short Reference ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plansThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
You use the report Import Initial Bank Account Balance (FQM_INITIAL_BALANCE_UPLOAD) to upload initial balances only for bank accounts with either of the ID categories Central System: House Bank Account or Central System: G/L Account in the connectivity path of the master data.
Integration
This applies in cases where the initial balance cannot be initialized by the FI Flow Builder, such as in the case of FI documents that have been archived before a system upgrade.
Prerequisites
Features
This report uploads initial balances in Microsoft Excel format into the One Exposure from Operations hub.
Selection
To run the report, you enter the file path of the input file and specify whether it is a test run or an update run.
If you want to run some tests without saving records to the database, select the Test Run checkbox.
The input file must be a Microsoft Excel file (.xls or .xlsx extension) that contains header information in the first row of each column. The column text can be defined freely; but the table header must follow the sequence below:
1. Value Date (cell number format category: General)
This is the value date of the initial bank account balance. The date must be specified in the date format that is assigned to the user performing the import.
This is a mandatory field.
2. G/L Account (cell number format category: General)
This is the corresponding G/L account of the imported bank account balance.
This is an optional field.
3. Account ID (cell number format category: General)
This is the technical ID (ACC_ID) of the bank account in the bank account master data. If this field is left empty, the system tries to determine the bank account number using the IBAN field.
You must maintain connectivity path information for bank accounts in the bank account master data in the application Manage Bank Accounts. The ID category field must contain Central System: House Bank Account or Central System: G/L Account, and G/L accounts must be defined there.
4. IBAN (cell number format category: General)
If the Account ID field is left empty, the system tries to determine the bank account number using the IBAN field.
5. Balance Amount (cell number format category: General)
This is the initial balance on the value date.
The balance amount must be specified in the decimal notation that is assigned to the user performing the import.
6. Balance Currency (cell number format category: General)
This is the currency of the initial balance.
This is a mandatory field.
If a G/L account is not entered in the balance entry, a G/L account is derived from the bank account master data. Otherwise, the initial balance flow in One Exposure uses the G/L account that you entered.
The company code is derived from the bank account master data.
The planning level is derived from the G/L account master data for the company code.
