FRE_SUBST_ASSIGNMENT_LOAD - Program for Specific Data Transfer of Assignment Details

Purpose

This report reads the master data stored in SAP ERP (assignments of follow-up/replacement articles to original articles) and transfers Substitution Assignments to SAP F&R.

The settings made here can be stored as variants and be scheduled to execute transmission to SAP F&R at specified intervals. This report is also integrated into the existing functionality for initial and delta data supply of SAP F&R to enable a specific initial transfer of the assignments and also transfer of changes made to them.

Particular situations such as changes in Customizing for the 'assignments of follow-up/replacement articles' in SAP ERP or data inconsistencies in SAP F&R due to technical problems with the transfer or updating of data, require a targeted transfer of assignments to SAP F&R which cannot be performed using the selection options in the standard initial data supply (transactions FRE01).

For this reason you can use the described Program for Specific Data Transfer of Assignment Details.

Integration

Prerequisites

Substitution Assignments

Valid Substitution Assignments must be maintained in the system (e.g. transaction WRFFUART). Also the necessary customizing settings (activation of interfaces, change pointers, definition of follow-up categories, time-controlled or event-controlled) for substitution processing must be done.

Features

Error Handling

If errors or warnings occur during processing and the selection in this report is aborted, the errors and warnings will be stored with a detailed description in table FRE_UI_MSG for interface SU1, which can be monitored in transaction FRE_UI. This allows the system administrator to recognize these problems via the user interface (transaction FRE_UI ) and to react to the problems.
