FSBP_CREATE_RC_CP_DP - Select Business Partner Purpose Information for Sending

Purpose

This report selects the purpose status (Purpose Completed or End of Purpose Reset) of the business partner that is to be resent.

You run this report if you want to clean up inconsistencies in the purpose status of the business partner. Inconsistent data can arise if an information message about a locked or unlocked business partner was stopped, was incorrect, or was not processed correctly in the receiver system for a different reason.

After you have run the report, you use Agent Framework to send the data to other systems.

Background Processes in the System

This report creates new change pointers for the business partners. After it has been created, the change pointer has the status C. Agent Framework reads these change pointers. After the system has sent the information message, the change pointers are assigned the status P.

Integration

You can start the report on the SAP Easy Access screen under Financial Services -> Business Partner -> Periodic Tasks -> Select Business Partner Purpose Information for Sending.

Prerequisites

You have executed the Customizing activity Activate Receivers for Change Notification Service for the recipient IDs for the purpose status. Otherwise, the report issues an error message.

You have to activate the business function ILM for Business Partner (BUPA_ILM_BF) before you can start the new report on the SAP Easy Access screen.

Report-Specific Authorization Checks

You use authorization object B_BUP_PCPT with the activities 05 (Lock) and 95(Unlock) to control authorization for this report.

Standard Variants

There are no standard variants for the report.

The standard agent uses the information messages of the following service operations:

  • BusinessPartnerFSPurposeCompletionBulkInformation - to set the purpose status to Purpose Completed
  • BusinessPartnerFSPurposeResetBulkInformation - to set the purpose status to End of Purpose Reset

Output

After you have run the report, the system displays those business partners for which the sending of an information message was selected and whether the purpose status is to be set to "Purpose Completed" or "End of Purpose Reset".

  1. Enter at least one business partner with a business partner number or one identification type with an identification number. The following, optional, selection criteria are available:

  1. Run the report.

  • If you are using the service operation InformOfBusinessPartnerPurposeCompletionAsBulk:

  • If you are using the service operation InformOfBusinessPartnerPurposeResetAsBulk:
