FSH_ARUN_WORKBENCH_BATCH - Background Processing for Arun Workbench

Purpose

You can use this report to execute the background processing of order allocation run (ARun) Workbench. This way you can combine larger volumes of data and process them outside the business hours. For example, you can plan a job for the weekend in which different allocations of the previous week are to be selected and changed. By starting a single program you can easily process complete allocation runs (assignments only) whose results should be changed.

Integration

Prerequisites

You must assign a workbench type that is maintained in ARun workbench and create a selection variant to the workbench type. This ensures that the required allocation is automatically selected by the system.

Features

You must specify the ARun Workbench type for this background processing tool.

You can create a workbench type in ARun workbench and create a variant with the selection parameters. You can then use the workbench type and variant to execute this report. You can also specify functions that need to be performed by this tool.

You can perform background processing of ARun workbench for assignments application area only. You can execute this report in normal and preview modes only.

Activities

1. On the report entry screen, choose a Workbench type. For Assignments, the allocated orders are displayed on the result screen of ARun Workbench
2. Choose a workbench variant.
3. Under the Activity section, you can perform the following functions for assignments application area:

• Deallocate: You can deallocate the entire quantity from an already allocated order. You cannot perform a partial deallocation.

• Release: You can change the status of released orders to the status Fixed or Hold).

• Block: You can block an order by changing the status Fixed to the status Hold or Reserved.
