Purpose

With this program, you can migrate your existing settings for reference interest rates and yield curve types to the new Customizing of the yield curve framework. The program automatically generates the new Customizing settings such as payment frequency and maximum age from your existing settings.

Integration

If you want to use the new functions delivered with business function TRM, Yield Curve Framework, you need to activate the new functions in Customizing under Activate Yield Curve Framework.

Upon activation, a dialog box appears, asking you to run this program to migrate your existing settings for reference interest rates and yield cuve types to the new Customizing activities of the yield curve framework. We recommend that you run the program. In this case, the system executes the program without any restrictions.

Note: You can also run the migration program using transaction SE38.

Features

Selection

  • You can execute the program for all reference interest rates and yield curve types. Alternatively, you can restrict the migration of reference interest rates and yield curve types.
  • Furthermore, you decide whether the program should overwrite already existing settings in the new Customizing activities (by setting the checkbox Update Allowed) or not.
  • If you are executing the program for the first time, we recommend that you migrate all reference interest rates and yield curve types.
  • If you need to execute the program again, consider restricting the reference rates and yield curve types to be migrated so that existing settings are not overwritten unnecessarily.

Standard Variants

Output

The program fills the new settings of the yield curve framework, without affecting any of the existing settings of the previous Customizing activities.
