User Exit for Pricing of Scale-Based Terminal Fees (Monthly Quantity Cumulation)

Purpose

You can use this user exit for the pricing of scale-based terminal fees. These fees have price breaks at different accumulated material quantity levels for a specific period of time.

The user exit:

  • Can only be used for fee condition types in the Exchanges area that have the following Customizing settings:
  • Scale type: D - graduated-to interval scale

  • Scale basis: C - Quantity scale

  • You carry out these settings in Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) under EXG (Exchanges) → Fee Handling → Fee Types → Define Sales Fees or Define Purchase Fees.
  • Can be used for fee conditions in Materials Management (MM) and in Sales and Distribution (SD)
In SD, you must set the Condition Update indicator at condition type level.
This routine reads the accumulated condition base (per month) from table S060 (SD) or from table S036 (MM), and adds it to the item condition base. The routine then compares this total with the scale intervals in the condition. The routine calculates which fraction of the total base value falls in each scale interval and saves this ratio in the kfaktor1 variable.
