GMA_ACE_GM_DATA_TRANSFER - Transfer Grants to Accrual Engine

Purpose
This program is used to transfer grants from Grants Management (GM). The transferred data is stored in the Accrual Engine.
Based on this data, accruals can then be calculated and posted. This is done using transaction GMAACT.
Simulations can also be carried out on the basis of the data transferred. This is done using the simulation mode in the information system (transaction GMAPSITEMS)
We recommend that you transfer data from GM periodically in order to update the data in the Accrual Engine.
After the data update, the required accruals can be adapted by restarting transaction GMAACT.

Prerequisites
Features
This program performs the following activities:
- Data selection from GM.
- Conversion of the data transferred from GM using the corresponding Customizing of the Grants Management Accrual Engine.
- If processing was not started in the test run, the converted data is stored in the Accrual Engine.
