GRAC_EAM_LOG_SYNC_TIMEBASED - Special Program: Time-based EAM Log Recovery & Workflow Generation

Purpose

This is a special program that is intended to perform the following operations for a timestamp range and connector.

1) Retrieve the missing EAM logs

2) Trigger the EAM Log approval workflows / Emails

3) Retrigger the EAM Log approval workflows if previous workflow is in erroneous or cancelled status

Prerequisites

CAUTION: This is special program that should be executed only by EAM administrator who should has good understanding of the reason why this program is being executed.

Please be advised that this program is not the replacement for the daily- hourly EAM log synchronization job, so if it is being executed without proper understanding then it could result in inconsistent EAM logs.

Features

How to execute the program GRAC_EAM_LOG_SYNC_TIMEBASED:

There are 2 radio buttons available:

Update logs: If this radio button is selected then EAM logs would be collected for selection

Generate workflow/Email: If this radio button is selected then Workflow/Email would be triggered for selection

When you select "Generate workflow/email" radio button then you will get further checkboxes which are related to resend workflow feature.

Resend Workflow Feature:

The “Resend Workflow” selection screen area is to allow triggering the workflows for the Firefighting sessions for which workflow has already been generated; but due to any inconsistency in it, now it is required to retrigger the workflow.

So for a certain duration and connector if it is required to retrigger the workflows for a Firefighter session for which previous workflow is in “Running” status then he/she should select only “Running” checkbox and execute the program accordingly.

If none of the checkboxes are selected then this program will not retrigger workflow for any FF Sessions for which workflow is already triggered but will consider only those Firefighter sessions for which no workflow is triggered yet.

Simulation Mode for Workflow:

This is to enable simulation mode for generating workflows / emails.
