Purpose

You can use this report to delete B2A application messages. Entries are deleted from tables PB2AMGR (HR-B2A: Application Data) and PB2ASTAT (HR-B2A: Status Management). The entries in these two tables are administration information that will be deleted.

The associated data will be handled differently, depending on the relevant document category. If the data exists in the table PB2ADATA (HR-B2A: Transfer Data), it will be deleted there.

Integration

You can use the report Delete HR Objects in the TemSe (RPUTSR00)to delete HR objects from the TemSe (temporary sequential file), based on the defined validity end date. Depending on the country, there are also other reports for deleting files from the TemSe.

Country-specific documentation:

In the country version for Belgium, you can use the report Delete HR TemSe Objects - Detailed Criteria (RPUTSRB0) to delete HR objects from the TemSe, depending on the extensive selection criteria such as object category, creation details, status of the B2A process, or file size.

Prerequisites

Features

If you select the checkbox Simulation when you call the report in the group box Options, the messages are not deleted physically. The authorization and other required conditions for deletion are verified. If this check is successful, the messages are identified accordingly on the overview screen.

If the warning Deletion not possible is displayed during deletion, this is due to the implementation of the method CHECK_DELETE of the class CL_HR_B2A_DOCUMENT, or the corresponding subclass according to Customizing (V_T50BA). The application can prevent deletion due to a corresponding implementation based on procedure-specific criteria (such as retention periods or status).

Selection

Standard Variants

Output

The reorganization process of the B2A application does not delete the corresponding files in the TemSe. These files lose their connection to the original B2A process and remain in the TemSe. It is recommended that you delete the obsolete TemSe files after the B2A application’s reorganization process, to ensure that the data storage is used efficiently.
