HCNCALC0 - Payroll Driver, Version China

On-Demand Payroll for Multiple Employees

You can use this function to run payroll for more than one employee on any day in the payroll period. You make these payments when you need to pay multiple employees in between regular payroll runs.

To run on-demand payroll, you must do the following:

• Specify the payment date on which you want to run on-demand payroll

• Use the ODPYpayroll reason or a customer-specific reason that you define for on-demand payroll runs.

You define your customer-specific payroll reasons in the Customizing activity Set up off-cycle reasons. You can use the ODPY payroll reason as an example to define your own payroll reasons.

• Omit an off-cycle payroll reason

Example

In your company, you run payroll on the 15th of each month. On January 20, you hire 10 new employees. Your company is required to pay these employees for the first payroll period even though they work for only part of the payroll period. You can use the On-Demand Payroll for Multiple Employees(HCNODPY0) report to run payroll for these employees.
