Purpose

Defining report formats allows you to create report formats required by your local government authority. You can create customized formats for the following legal reports:

  • Income tax report for individuals by month
  • Social insurance report
  • Public housing fund report

For example, you can create a format for individual income tax report based on the requirements of Shanghai tax authority.

Integration

You use the Define Report Formats (HCNCLRS0) program, the flexible reporter, to customize report formats. These formats are used in conjunction with the following features by the corresponding report programs: The report program reads the return values of the feature to decide which format to use.

Activities

To define a format, proceed as follows:

  1. Move fields between the two tables by using drag-and-drop operation or arrow buttons.
Fields in the Selected Fields table are displayed as column headings.
  1. Adjust the sequence of the fields by using drag-and-drop operation or arrow buttons.
Columns are arranged in the sequence defined by their sequence number.
  1. If necessary, create your own field for display in the report.
Select custom fields from the Selectable Fields table, specify a display name, and enter a fixed value in the Const. (Constant) column.
The fixed value applies to all employees that you select in the selection screen.
  1. Specify a separator.
You can either choose an existing separator or choose Others to define your own separator. The separator is used to separate the report columns. It only applies to TXT files.
