HCNUCP_STCHK - Update of Participant and Benefit Eligibility Statuses

Purpose

You use this report to update the following employee master data in the Corporate Pension Management (3533) infotype:

  • Participant statuses
The report checks whether it is necessary to change the participant status of the specified employees for the given period. For example, you must change the participant status when an employee joins a pension plan. If employees are eligible to join a pension plan, you can update employee master data by creating a new infotype record.
In the standard system, the report can only change an employee's participant status from an initial status to Participant. To enable the report to make other status changes, implement the Business Add Ins (BAdIs) under the Note section below.
  • Benefit eligibility statuses
The system checks whether the selected employees are eligible to receive benefits from the pension plan. For example, you must change the benefit eligibility status if an employee reaches the retirement age. If employees are eligible, you can update employee master data by creating a new infotype record. To enable the report to check criteria other than the retirement age, implement the BAdIs under the Note section below.

You can run the report in background mode or in dialog mode. Note

You can define customer-specific criteria to check whether employees are eligible to become participants of pension plans, whether their existing statuses can be changed, or whether they are eligible to receive benefits from them by creating implementations for the following BAdIs:

The table below contains data that you enter on the selection screen:

Standard Variants

Output

You can display the results of the report selection at different levels as described below. You can use the navigation tree to switch between these levels.

  • Overview (top node in the navigation tree)
The system displays the number of processed employees per corporate pension plan.
  • Detailed view (subordinate nodes in the navigation tree)
The system displays a list of employees for each selected pension plan in a separate table.
For each employee, traffic lights and status indicators show the following batch input and update statuses:
  • If the employee's infotype record can be updated

  • If the infotype record update is included in a batch input file

  • If you have updated the infotype record directly

On the output screen, you can process or display data as follows:,,

Update infotype directly Select the employees for whom you want to update the Corporate Pension Management (3533) infotype directly and choose Update Infotype. The system updates the infotype directly and sets the status of the IT Status field to Updated.
Create a batch input session for all employees in a pension plan Select the pension plan in the overview screen, and choose Create BI Sessions. The system updates the infotype when you run the batch input session.
Create a batch input session for selected employees in a pension plan Select the employees whose statuses you want to update in a batch input session. The system updates the infotype when you run the batch input session.
Display details for a pension plan or employees Select a pension plan or employees, and choose Detail.The system displays the data of the selected pension plan or employee in a tabular format.

Activities

To access this report, on the Easy Access screen choose Human Resources → Personnel Management → Administration → Info System → Reports → Administration China → Corporate Pension → Update of Participant and Benefit Eligibility Statuses.
