Purpose

You use this report engine to run the predefined dynamic reports for the personnel or payroll statistics in the company.

Integration

This report is integrated with the Report Management Platform (HCNUSAC_RMP).

Prerequisites

  • The dynamic report that you want to run has been defined in the Report Management Platform.
  • To run a dynamic report, you must have the authorization to run the dynamic report. This means that you must be the owner of the report, or assigned by the owner to the report, in order to run it.
  • To get the correct results, you must have the authorization to access the corresponding master data and payroll results.

Features

You use this report engine to run the dynamic reports that have been defined in the Report Management Platform. By doing so, you can check the statistics of headcount, employees' master data, and payroll results, and track the corresponding changes in the company over time.

Selection

In addition to the standard selection criteria, specify the following:

  • Report ID
Enter the ID of the dynamic report that you want to run.
You must be the owner of the report, or assigned by the owner to the report, in order to run it.
  • Determining Factor
(Optional) Select the filter for the specified dynamic report.
  • Master Data Selection Date
Specify this date if you want to check employee headcount statistics or employee master data changes.
  • Payroll Date
Specify payroll date if you want to check payroll results or payroll result changes. Select the payroll type whose payroll results you want to check.

Activities

To access this report on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Human Resources -> Payroll -> Asia/Pacific -> China -> Tools -> Report Management -> Dynamic Report Engine.

Example

In the Report Management Platform, you have defined a dynamic report X for the statistics of new employees that joined the company from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2012. You have also defined a determining factor Y to single out all male employees.

To see a list of the new employees that joined the company from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2012, you select the following in the report engine:

  • Report ID: X
  • Master Data Selection Date: From 01.01.2012 To 31.12.2012

To see a list of new male employees that joined the company from 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2012, you select the following in the report engine:

  • Report ID: X
  • Determining factor: Y
  • Master Data Selection Date: From 01.01.2012 To 31.12.2012
