Purpose

You use this report engine to run the dynamic reports that you have defined in the Report Management Platform (HCNUSAC_RMP_NEW) program. The Report Management Platform and this report engine are to facilitate the reporting process about employee personnel and payroll statistics.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • You have defined the dynamic reports in the Report Management Platform (HCNUSAC_RMP_NEW) program.
  • You have the authorization for the dynamic report you are going to run. It means that you are either the owner of the dynamic report or you have been assigned to the report by the dynamic report owner.
  • You have the authorization to access the corresponding master data and payroll results.

Features

With the defined dynamic reports, you can check the statistics of headcount, employees' master data, and payroll results, and track the corresponding changes in the company over time.

Selection

In addition to the standard selection criteria, specify the following:

  • Dynamic Report
    Enter the ID of the dynamic report that you want to run. You must be the owner of the report, or assigned by the owner to the report, in order to run it.
  • Determining Factor (Optional)
    Select the filter for the specified dynamic report.
  • Data Selection Period
    Specify this date if you want to check employee headcount statistics or employee master data changes.
  • Payroll Type
    Specify type of payroll runs from which the system retrieves the payroll data.
Note
To decide the specific time during which the data is read, the system uses the dates entered in the selection screen together with the time setting of the statistical dimension item in Report Management Platform.

Activities

To access this report on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Human Resources -> Payroll -> Asia/Pacific -> China -> Tools -> Report Management -> Dynamic Report Engine (New).
