Purpose

You use this report to generate MPF contribution media files in the predefined data format, as required by MPF provider, such as Manulife.

Integration

Prerequisites

  • Payroll results are available. You run this report after each payroll run.
  • Enter Contribution Plan HK(0346) infotype. This report processes only the MPF type of contribution plan.

Features

Selection

In addition to the standard selection criteria, you need to enter the following additional data:

  • Zero contribution data
If an employee's MPF contribution is zero and he or she is selected for the report run, and you select the checkbox, then his or her MPF contribution will display in the SAP List Viewer (ALV) list and be downloaded to the local client. Otherwise, if you do not select the checkbox, such employees' MPF contribution will not display in the ALV list.
  • Read latest payroll if RETRO
If you select the checkbox, the report will retrieve the latest payroll result generated in the payroll run if retroactive accounting happens in that month.
  • Within eligibility age range
This report can generate contribution data for the employees within the eligibility age range only. For example, if the age range is between 18 and 64, and the Within eligibility age rangecheckbox is selected, then this report generates contribution data for the employees aged between 18 and 64 only.
The eligibility age range is defined in Customizing Define Contribution Plan Special Rules.
  • Output format
This report is currently used for the predefined data format, as required by Manulife. Also, you can specify a path name and the system will download the file to your local client.
If you select the Display Member Numbercheckbox, the value of Member Account Numberin the ALV list and the plain text file is set as the personnel number. And, the last name and the first name are displayed in two separate fields.

Standard Variants

Output

The report outputs the data in the ALV list for the following types of employees:

  • New Memberrefers to employees who make his or her first contribution after 60 days' employment.
  • Existing Memberrefers to employees who are still employed and make contributions after 60 days' period.
  • Terminated Existing Memberrefers to existing employees who are terminated from employment.
  • Back Payment Memberrefers to employees who still make the MPF contribution after they are terminated from employment.
  • Terminated New Memberrefers to new employees who are terminated after 60 days' employment and the notice of termination falls on or prior to the end of contribution period.

Also, you can click File Downloadto download the file to your local client in the path you specified on the selection screen.

Activities

To access this report, on the SAP Easy Accessscreen, choose Human Resources → Payroll → Asia/Pacific → Hong Kong → Subsequent Activities → Per payroll period → Reporting → MPF contribution media → Generic format.
