Purpose

This report generates the Universal Social Contribution (USC) certificate statutory form, which is a part of End-of-Employment Returns (EOER) reporting in Ireland. You can also use this report to re-issue income levy certificates for 2010, if necessary.

When an employee leaves your company, while calculating the final net pay, you issue an USC Certificate form.

Note

You issue this certificate along with the P45 form.

Integration

Prerequisites

Before you generate the USC certificate form for a terminated employee, you need to ensure that the following:

  • You must have executed the termination event for the employee.
  • There must be a set of payroll results for the Payroll Period during which the employee termination took place.
  • You must execute this report before rehiring an employee.

Features

Selection

Specify the following selection criteria:

  • Payroll Period - Specify the payroll period for which you want to execute the report.
  • Selection - Select an employee or a range of employees.
  • Leaver Certificate
  • Universal Social Contribution (USC) -Select this option button if you want the report to read the SAPScript (Leaver Certificate) form relevant for USC.

  • Income Levy (IL)- Select this option button if you want the report to read the SAPScript (Leaver Certificate) relevant for IL.

  • SAPScript (Levy Certificate)- Enter the name of the form to print the Income Levy Certificate.

  • Employer Reference- Enter the employer's unique number assigned by the revenue commissioners.

  • Contact Name- Enter the name of the person who the Legislative can contact in case of any clarifications required in the form.

  • Contact Phone Number- Enter the phone number of the person who the Legislative can contact in case of any clarifications required in the form.

  • Contact E- Mail- Enter the email address of the person who the Legislative can contact in case of any clarifications required in the form.

Standard Variants

Output

The report displays the following details on the output screen:

  • Leaver Certificate - Select this option to print the certificate.
  • List of rejected employees along with the reason for rejection and the Leaver certificate data.

Activities

  1. From SAP Easy Access menu, Choose Human Resources -> Payroll-> Europe -> Ireland -> Subsequent activities -> Period- independent-> Payroll-related area-> Leavers Notification -> Leaver's Certificates
The Leaver's Certificates screen screen appears.
  1. Enter the relevant selection criteria.
  2. Choose Program -> Execute.
System displays the relevant details on the output screen.
