HINITXMT - HR-IN: Batch program for Taxation method

Purpose

This function enables you to set the Taxation option for multiple employees at once in the Other Statutory Deductions Infotype (0588) subtype 0008 automatically.

Integration

Prerequisites

The value of the Taxation Method(TXMTH) payroll constant should be set to 1.

Features

Selection

You can restrict the selection to an individual or a range of employees, based on:

• Personnel Number

• Payroll area

In the Tax Method Selection, you can choose one of the two available options, to update the Taxation option for the selected Personnel Numbers above

Standard Variants

Output

Running this report updates the Taxation option in the Other Statutory Deductions Infotype (588) subtype 0008 for all the selected Personnel numbers.

Since this is mandatory to be set for all employees w.e.f 01 April 2020, the employer can use this batch program to update the Taxation option for multiple employees at once.
