HINUPECA - Closure Action Report

Purpose

The administrator of the company uses this report to perform the following:

  • Display a list of request(s) created for a policy(s)
  • Perform closure action(s) on a request

,,System performs the following types of closure actions:

  • Updates master data

  • Sends e-mail

  • Execute personnel action

Note that, system perfoms the closure action only for those requests with the following statuses:

  • Approved and closure action not performed

  • Rejected and closure action not performed

Features

Selection

In the Periodgroup box, select the Reporting Period. If you choose the reporting period as Key Date, enter the specific date. If you choose the reporting period as Other Period, enter the date range.

In the Selection Criteria group box, enter the relevant employee data such as Personnel number, Company code and so on.

In Request Selection group box, enter the following details such as:

  • Area Key
  • Request Number
  • Policy details such as Policy Group, Policy Type, Policy Name
  • Request details such as Created On, Changed On, Changed By,
  • Closure Action Type
  • Closure Action Status and Request Status

In the Execution Option group box, you can perform the following:

  • Choose Display Request radio button if you want the report to display a list of request(s) created for a policy(s).
  • Choose Perform Closure Action (Simulation Mode) radio button if you want the report to simulate the closure action(s) on the request defined in the policy. The report displays an output but does not perform any closure actions.
  • Choose Perform Closure Action (Live Run) radio button if you want the report to perform the closure action, which includes, updating database tables, sending mail, generating correspondence letters etc.

In ALV Display Variantgroup box, enter the ALV Layout name. on the selection criteria, the resulting screen displays a list of request(s) created for a policy. If no value is mentioned in the ALV Layout field, system displays the list in the default layout, if any.

Standard Variants

Output

Based on the selection criteria, report displays a list of request(s) created for a policy. In addition to this, you can also perform the following functions:

  • Choose the Display Closure Action pushbutton if you want to view all the closure actions in a particular request. System takes you to the Report program to perform closure action for policy request screen.
On this screen, choose either the Perform Closure Action (Live Run) pushbutton or the Perform Closure Action (Simulation mode)pushbutton to display the status of closure action in the form of traffic lights.In case of Live Run, the report performs relevant closure actions, which includes, updating database tables, sending mail, generating correspondence letters etc. However, in Simulation mode, the report does not update the database table.
Failure in the closure action is indicated by a Red traffic light, whereas success is indicated by a Green traffic light. A successful closure action with warnings is also indicated by a Red traffic light.
You can also view warning or error messages generated by the system after performing the closure action. To view the messages, double-click on any field in the output list.
Note
You can view the closure actions of a single request only at any point in time. In case you select multiple requests, system displays an error. Select a single request.
  • Choose the Perform Closure Action (Simulation Mode) pushbutton, if you want the report to simulate the closure action(s) on the request defined in the policy. The report displays an output but does not update the database table.
  • Choose the Perform Closure Action (Live Run) pushbutton, if you want the report to perform the closure action and update the relevant database table.
