HINUTANU - Utility to upload TAN Numbers for the employees

Purpose

This report updates Personal IDs (0185) infotype with emplyer's TAN, PAN and GIR number details. You use this report while going live with the TAN number intergration with master data solution.

You can either select the employees based on the employee selection criteria, or you can upload the relevant details in .txt format. If you choose the former option, the infotype will be updated based on HR-IN: Feature to return Employer ITax related data (40ECC) feature configuration. If you choose the latter option, make sure you create the file in the following format:

EE number,,TAN ,,PAN,,GIR,,Begin Date of the record,,End date of the record

Example:

41100007,,KARB00601,,SAP KA001123,,AB3453 2727743543 ,,20100501 ,,99991231

Note

If the payroll is executed for the period, the Personal IDs (0185)infotype record cannot be modified. So you must run this report before executing the payroll run for the period.

Activities

From SAP Easy Access menu, choose Human Resources -> Payroll -> Asia/Pacific -> India -> Utilities -> Update Infotype 185 with TAN Details.
Enter the employee selection criteria.
Enter the solution Go Live year or the financial year for which you want to update the infotype record with the relevant details. You can also create the record on the hire date of the employee.
Enter the path to the .txt file that contains the relevant information to be updated.
