HJPUCP_ASNPRD - Assignment Period Generation (CP)

Purpose
The standard system provides benefit management functions for the following retirement benefit plans:
- Defined benefit corporate pension plans (DB)
- Employees' pension fund plans (EPF)
You use this report to generate the regular assignment periods for contribution of current period. The assignment period can be used for each combination of a specific plan and contribution amount calculation group.
Integration
If you select the Carry out Table Change indicator, the report updates records in the Assignment Period for Retirement Benefit Resource Management table view (V_T7JPCP_ASNPERD).
Prerequisites
You have defined the assignment period unit in the Define Assignment Period Parameters IMG activity.
Features
Selection
You specify Other Date as the assignment date only when the assignment period unit is Monthly.
The Calculation Key Date Rule determines a day of each calculation period, on which the system reads calculation factors for calculating benefit resources.
The following screen fields are applicable for the cash balance plans:
- Cash Balance Period Unit
- Cash Balance Rule
Note:
In the standard system, for cash balance plans, the assignment date for contribution of current period and interest credit should always be the same.
Standard Variants
Output
This report generates every assignment period within the specified years. The report also displays the existing records for the same calculation period parameter and validity period.
The flag FL indicates that in this period the interest credit is also assigned to the participants.
Activities
Example
You implement a cash balance plan, which has the following settings:
- Fiscal year starts from April 1
- Contribution interval: half-yearly
- Contribution assignment date: end day of each contribution interval
- Calculate and assign the interest rate on the end date of a fiscal year
To generate the assignment periods from the fiscal year 2007 to 2010, you fill out the fields on the selection screen as follows:
Start Date: 01042007
End Year: 2010
Assignment Period Parameter: Select an assignment period parameter whose period unit is half-yearly
Assignment Date: End Date of Calculation Period
Calculation Key Date Rule: Start Date of Calculation Period
Cash Balance Period Unit: Interest credit assignment period unit is annual
Cash Balance Rule: Interest credit assignment in the 2nd period,,
