ICA_UPLOAD_MATCHING_ITEMS - Upload Matching Items

Purpose

Upload data to the matching engine for the organizational units that are outside of SAP S/4HANA.

Activities

1. Select a matching method and one of its data sources.
2. Select a delimiter, semicolon, comma, or tab, for the CSV file template to be downloaded.
3. Choose Download Templateand specify a file path to store the template file.
4. Open the downloaded CSV file and enter the data you want to upload row by row.

Note: Enter the data from row 5 and keep the other rows intact. The fields marked with "*" are mandatory.

1. In the Source Filefield, choose the file you just filled out.
2. Optionally, specify a timestamp in the past as the Cutoff Time if you want to insert the data with the specific cutoff timestamp.
3. Choose Execute. If the upload is successful, a log message shows the generated matching document numbers.

Further notes

Cutoff Time is optional. If not specified, the file upload time is used. It's for the purpose of inserting the missing data at a specific time. When the file upload succeeds, the cutoff time is taken as the data roll-in time and assigned to the matching documents generated.

Note: In a specific upload, the Cutoff Timeshould be no earlier than any values of the TIMESTAMP field in the file, otherwise, the upload fails with an error. Additionally, since in any matching run, system only retrieves data after last cutoff time, to avoid data missing, a timestamp in future is not allowed.
