Purpose

You use this report to prepare a material ledger at the end of each fiscal year. This material ledger only displays valuated goods movements; it does not display non-valuated goods movements such as stock transfers between plants. In addition, the ledger also displays balance sheet revaluation documents.

Features

The report displays all relevant accounting documents for each combination of material, valuation area, and valuation type. The report also shows the opening and closing stock quantity, the corresponding balance amount for the above combination, along with the consolidated quantity and balance amount for each material.

Note

If the FI Summarization functionality is enabled in your system, note that the output of this report output might differ from the standard reports (for example, Display Stocks for Posting Date; transaction MB5B).

Selection

On the selection screen, enter the following details:

  • Company code and fiscal year
  • Accounting principle and posting period
  • Material and valuation area
  • Select the Also Display Materials Without Stock checkbox if you want the report to include those materials that do not contain any stock movement

Standard Variants

Output

The report displays a list of all the materials that match your selection criteria.

Activities

To access this report, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> General Ledger -> Information System -> General Ledger Reports (New) -> Account Balances -> Chile -> Inventory Ledger.

or

Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> General Ledger -> Periodic Processing -> Closing -> Report -> General Ledger Reports -> Account Balances -> Chile -> Inventory Ledger.
