Purpose

You use this report to delete key figures without an object assignment.

Integration

System administrators use this report to check the key figure monitor for key figures for which objects no longer exist and to remove these redundant objects straight away.

Test Mode:

Select this indicator to execute the report in simulation mode. The system does not save the data.

Prerequisites

  • To use the report, you must enter the application ID that is contained in system table CGPL_APPLICATION. You must also enter the object type (technical field KF_OBJ_TYPE) to restrict the check to a single area.
  • You have created key figure definitions and determined key figures.

Features

When you execute the report, the system checks all generated key figure entries for their source objects. If the source object no longer exists, the system deletes the key figure entries and assignments from the database tables.

The system then only saves the values if no errors occur while the report is being executed.

Selection

Standard Variants

No variants.

Output

The log display contains messages that show whether key figures for which no objects exist were found and deleted.

If you do not select the Test Mode indicator, the log also displays a message with the confirmation that the data was saved successfully. If saving fails, the system displays an error message.
