Purpose

The database triggers created in a previous activity are required for the sender system. But as this was done at a point in time when the clone system wasn't detached yet from the source system, these triggers are equally active on the clone system (receiver system). There, they need to be deactivated prior to the real upgrade activities. This is what this activity does.

In order to get the triggers deactivated as quick as possible, it is recommended to schedule multiple batch jobs for this activity.

The restriction for specific tables or tables to which a specific process option is assigned only makes sense for testing purposes. For the productive upgrade, it must be made sure that the triggers are deactivated for ALL tables.

Mapping between PCL Package ID and Mass Transfer ID is transferred to the receiver system (into table IUUC_PACKID_MTID) to make this information available in the receiver system for further processing.
