Purpose

If the DB system is either Oracle or MAX DB or SAP HANA, the SEQUENCE field of the logging table is filled by means of DB objects called sequences. Sequences are created once DB triggers are created the first time for the corresponding tables. They aren't deleted along with the DB triggers, because it must be made sure that the sequence number is unique (and increasing in the course of time).

Only after an IUUC project is finished, the sequences should be deleted on the sender system. This can be done by means of this report. It is checked that no IUUC-releated DB triggers exist any more in this system. Otherwise, the sequence objects can't be deleted, because this would render the triggers invalid, causing shortdumps whenever DB operations occur for the corresponding table. The same check is done in the receiver system where anyway no triggers should be active.

It is also possible to delete sequence objects only for a certain mass transfer ID, or for specific tables of a mass transfer. In this case, the sequences can be deleted if no trigger (for which it is assumed that the numeric part of the name is the same as the numberic part of the sequence name) refers to the specific sequence object.
