Purpose

In this step, you can view the trigger source code for a given database table and mass transfer ID. You can view either the active or generated trigger statements.

An active trigger statement contains the current active SQL trigger statement, while a generated trigger statement displays the SQL trigger statements that would be generated with the current settings. These (generated) statements are not yet active.

Selection

If you use transaction LTRC to run this report, then the system automatically uses the relevant mass transfer ID (this value cannot be changed). If you run this report outside of transaction LTRC (for example by using transaction SE38), then you must specify a mass transfer ID.

There are two options available:

  • Active Code: If you select this option, the system displays all active regular and conditional trigger statements for the table and mass transfer ID.
  • Generated Code:
  • If you select this option and leave Point in Time drop-down menu empty, the system displays the regular trigger statements that would be generated by the current settings (for example any filters that you have defined in transaction LTRS (Advanced Replication Settings)). You can also choose to view only specific trigger statements (for example INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE). To do this, choose the relevant entry in the Specific Trigger Statement field.

  • If you select this option and select a Point in Time from the drop-down menu, conditional triggers statement(s) will be displayed. In this case, the field Specific Trigger Statement is not effective, regardless of whether or not it is filled.
