Purpose

Preparation Steps to re-execute Conversion RNGC_CONV_REF_CHAR in the downtime or several times at the TCR sync points on a reduced subset of the data.

Processed Steps

(1) Restore customizing table

Affected customizing tables (TCLT and TCLAO) of the conversion report are prepared for the re-execution. First the actual state of the customizing table is checked against the backup before the conversion report execution in the SUM / Upgrade. If there are no changes, this step will do nothing. Otherwise a new backup of the actual state is created, and the customizing table are restored from the backup of the SUM / Upgrade.

(2) Prepare application table

The Conversion report RNGC_CONV_REF_CHAR created new records in table AUSP. These records can be invalidated by the delta replay. The invalid records must be deleted before the re-execution, because the conversion report only inserts missing records, but doesn't correct invalid records in table AUSP.
