J_1GVL_INVB - Statutory Inventory Book
General Material Data BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
General
You use this report to produce a statutory inventory book that combines the valuation results table (J_1GVL_WHB011) and the warehouse book table (J_1GVL_WHBPOL). Note that the inventory book is not just a reproduction of the results of the WHB table for each plant as this ignores the adjustments that are stored without a plant reference. Because of this, the inventory book program reads the valuation results in table J_1GVL_WHB011 and then uses this price to multiply the quantities of the WHB plants. It is common that rounding differences occur. The total value (for all plants in the current run) of these rounding differences is dumped by the program in the first plant that has a nonzero quantity.
Selection
- SHOW ROUNDING DIFFERENCES
- Select this checkbox to show the rounding differences. You can deselect this checkbox for the official run to hide the rounding differences.
- MATERIAL TYPE TOTALS
If you select this checkbox, totals per material type and plant are displayed at the end of the report.
- TOTALS ANALYSIS PER VAL. CLASS
If selected, totals per material type, plant and valuation class are displayed at the end of the report.
- SHOW NON-VALUATED WHBS
- If you select this checkbox, it allows results for non-primary WHB codes to be printed. For example, if you have some non-valuated materials in another WHB but not the primary one.
- SUM QUANTITIES
- If you select this checkbox, the sum of quantities are displayed in total rows.
- GROUPING PER THIRD PARTY
- If you select this checkbox, results are grouped per third party (customer/vendor).
- HEADERS
- If you select this checkbox, the top header lines of the book report are printed.
- BLANK LINES ON TOP
- If you select this checkbox, a five line space is left at the top of every page in order to allow space for pre-printed page headers.
- INCLUDE VALUES
- If you select this checkbox, values are shown in the report. For correct value calculation, you must run the report without specific selection of WHB codes. WHB code selection is left open in case 'A' and 'S' books coexist. If you do not select this checkbox, no values are shown in the report.
- CHECK CONSISTENCY
- If you select this checkbox, the report checks whether the three components (valuation, WHB and inventory) are consistent. For correct value calculation, you must run the report without specific selections of WHB codes and others. Checkbox 'Show non-valuated WHB' is also disabled. WHB code selection is left open in case 'A' and 'S' books coexist.
- UPDATE PERIOD 00
- If you select this checkbox, the results of the inventory (quantity and value) are used to update period 00 of the following year in the WHB table. Note that this means that adjustments are essentially refreshed with the year closing. You must run the report without specific selection of WHB codes and others. Checkbox 'Show non-valuated WHB' is also disabled. WHB code selection is left open in case 'A' and 'S' books coexist.
