Purpose

This report helps you in projecting the asset block depreciation values for the current fiscal year.

The report projects the asset block depreciation values for the remaining part of the current fiscal year based on the values entered by you and the depreciation values until the current period.

Integration

Prerequisites

Features

  • The report projects the depreciation as follows:
  • It reads the Transaction values of the asset block updated by the Update Asset Transaction Details at Block Level report.

  • It reads the Adjustment values of the asset block, posted using the Adjustments to Asset Openings WDV or Transactionsreport.

  • To these values it adds the projected values entered by you on the screen and calculates depreciation as described below.
  • The report calculates the depreciation as follows:
  • It first calculates the opening WDV of the asset block.

  • Then computes depreciation by applying the applicable depreciation rate as a percentage on this value, after considering all the transactions relevant to the assets in the block.

  • It then computes the closing WDV.

    For more information on depreciation calculation, refer to the Income Tax Depreciation Calculation (J_1l_UPDDEPCALPOST) report.

Selection

Enter data as required:

  • Company Code
  • Fiscal Year
  • Asset block
  • Additional depreciation block
  • Attributes of the asset block, such as:
  • Possible acquisition for <= 180 days

  • Possible acquisitions for > 180 days

  • Possible retirements

  • Possible Transfer-in <= 180 days

  • Possible Transfer-in > 180 days

  • Possible Transfer-out

  • Investment Support

  • Post Capitalization

The values that you enter in the Attributes of the Asset Blockgroup box are the forecasted values.

Standard Variants

Output

The system displays the projected depreciation values in a tabular format.

Activities

To access this report, on the SAP Easy Accessscreen, choose Accounting-> Financial Accounting-> Fixed Assets-> Information system-> Reports on Asset accounting-> Special Valuation-> Country Specifics-> India-> Calculation of Projection Depreciation Values
