Purpose

Program J_1SNFIL converts the CH postal master data to SAP formats and generates various files that are used as input for the dataset transfer.

The CH postal master data is distributed between the following temporary files:

  • Cities
  • Postal codes (including municipality data, if applicable)
  • Streets
  • Carriers

Integration

You must observe the processing sequence (reports, maintenance views) for the dataset transfer.

Program sequence for transfer of PTT master data dataset:

1) J_1SNFIL2 (Create temporary file)
2) J_1SKGS (Create dummy entry for district municipality key)
3) J_1SNORT (Transfer PTT city data)
4) J_1SNPLZ (Transfer PTT postal code data)
5) J_1SNSTR (Transfer PTT street data)
6) J_1SNBOT (Transfer PTT carrier data)

Prerequisites

The assignment between the logical and physical paths must be maintained:
Physical path: ISP_PTT_ALL
Logical path: ISP_PTT_ALL

ISP_PTT_ORT_DAT (Temporary city file)
ISP_PTT_PLZ_DAT (Temporary postal code file)
ISP_PTT_STR_DAT (Temporary street file)
ISP_PTT_BOT_DAT (Temporary carrier file)

Note: The physical file name is dependent on the settings for the logical files.

The following PTT file is required for the dataset transfer/comparison:
MAT[CH]news<date>.csv (file PTT Complete Dataset)

Program J_1SNFIL2 can be restarted if the requirements are met.
