Attachments

You can use the option to attach files to the configuration. To do this, select a line and click the Document Folders pushbutton. A new screen will open that contains the hierarchy of folders for attachments specific for this line of the Customizing activity.

If you are creating new attachments for this line of the Customizing activity, and you have maintained the default structure on the SAP Easy Access screen under Accounting → Financial Accounting → Accounts Receivable/Payable → Reporting → Ukraine → Configure Transfer Pricing → Attachment Structure, you will start with an empty default folder structure, otherwise you will only start with the root node of the structure. You can manually edit the structure, as well as upload and download attachments.

Features

Selection

Under the General Parameters and Additional Criteriagroup boxes, provide data as required.

Under group box Execute, you have the following options to run the report:

  • Test XML Generation:
Use this to check the created XML in the testing program provided by the tax authority, and fix any problems that may occur before creating a new report for the tax authorities.
The report with this checkbox selected will not increase the correction number.
  • Output File Path:
Enter a path on your hard drive or server where the program will save the XML-based output file.
  • Read from Database:
Use this option to speed up data selection. When you leave this checkbox deselected, the system retrieves data according to your selection parameters and writes it into the program's database. If the selection is broad, this can take a lot of time, so when working with a lot of data, it is advised to make narrower selections and writing data from the system into the program's database in smaller batches.
When you have selected all data, select this checkbox and prepare the output. The program will only read the data that has been written into its database.
For example, if you have a lot of data split between 10 vendors, you can do this as follows:
  1. Run the program for vendor 1 with the Read from Database checkbox deselected
  2. Run the program again for vendor 2
  3. Repeat for the remaining 8 vendors
  4. Run the program for vendors 1-10 with the Read from Database checkbox selected and prepare the output
  • Number of Correction
This field is not visible by default. It becomes visible if you choose the Read from Database option.
Use this field to choose to display a correction of the Transfer Pricing Reporting output form.
When a report is generated by a company for the first time for the current reporting year, it is assigned a sequence correction number. If the correction number is equal to 0, the report is the reporting version, if greater than 0, the report is the clarifying version.
  • Aggregate Transactions:
Running the report with this checkbox selected will aggregate all similar transactions with Pricing Method 302, 303, 304 or 305 into one line item with their total amount, quantity, starting date (the posting date of the earliest document) and end date (the posting date of the latest document) in the output document. If the checkbox is unchecked, then every line item of the document will be displayed separately except for the price difference account line items that are always merged with the original. You can display merged items separately by clicking Expand, and you can merge the items again by clicking Merge.
  • Merge Similar Transactions:
Running the report with this checkbox selected will merge all similar transactions into one line item with their total amount, quantity, starting date (the posting date of the earliest document) and end date (the posting date of the latest document) in the output document. If the checkbox is unchecked, then every line item of the document will be displayed separately except for the price difference account line items that are always merged with the original. You can display merged items separately by clicking Expand, and you can merge the items again by clicking Merge. Note that if you select the Aggregate Transactions checkbox along with Merge Similar Transactions, then the system will first aggregate all applicable transactions, and then it will only merge the similar transactions that were not aggregated.
  • Show Over Limit Only
If you select this checkbox, the report will output all participants of controllable transactions that fall under the selection criteria and exceed the transaction amount limit only.

Under group box Annex TP (under Manual Entries), you can specify the Identical Document Number and Document Status as required by the tax authorities. You can also set the Consolidated flag to indicate if the Annex TP document is Consolidated or not set it to indicate if the document is Reporting.

Standard Variants

Output

Hierarchical ALV-based List

This report outputs an ALV-based data list. The ALV-based data list displays the following:

  1. All participants of controllable transactions that fall under the selection criteria and exceed the transaction amount limit.
  2. All participants of controllable transactions that fall under the selection criteria and do not exceed the transaction amount limit (if checkbox Show Over Limit Onlyis unchecked on the selection screen).

The transactions that are grouped together share the group information displayed in the pale orange header row. The transactions themselves are grouped under that header and are marked with different colors. Green color means that the list item has corresponding correction documents - you can access those by clicking the document item. Blue color means that the list item contains merged documents, and light blue means that the list item contains aggregated documents.

You can also double-click the pale orange row to display transaction participant data or double-click a white, blue or green row to display transaction data.

If you click a document number, the report displays that document. If you click a transaction item, the report displays a chain of documents, including any related corrections, reversions and merged documents. On the pop-up screen, you can also see an Explanation field, which contains the description of changes that this document makes to the original document in the chain. These can be:

  • Price update
  • Quantity update
  • Merge of original documents based on matching material, plant, price etc.
  • Reason not defined

You can also use the following features on the report screen:

  • Delete Selected
You can delete a line item from the report by selecting the line item and clicking Delete.
  • Show Log
You can display a log with information, error and warning messages by clicking Log.
  • Change Marked Document Items
You can change or correct the information contained in a transaction data line by clicking Change Marked Itemsand then selecting the relevant lines and double-clicking on a line to open the transaction data screen. When you change a field in the data screen and save your changes, all the corresponding fields in all the selected lines will be automatically updated.
  • Generate XML
You can generate an XML-based output file.

Flat ALV-based List

When generated for more than one transaction group, the hierarchical ALV list has restrictions that prevent you from using some of the basic ALV functions like, for example, performing aggregations. To use these, select groups or individual transactions and click the Copy to Flat ALVpushbutton to export part or all of the output data as a flat ALV list. The flat ALV list contains two group boxes: one for transaction groups, and one for individual transactions, and supports all the basic ALV functions.

XML Generation

To generate an XML-based output file, click the Generate XML pushbutton. The XML files will be saved into the folder you entered previously on the selection screen. The program generates the following types of XML files:

  • Report on Controllable Transactions:one XML file. This XML file contains one sheet with Company Code and controllable transaction participant data.
  • Appendix: Information About the Person Involved in Controllable Transactions: one XML file for each controllable transaction participant. These XML files contain data for all controllable transactions of each controllable transaction participant.
Note: a single XML file cannot contain more than 20 000 lines. If there are more, the program will generate an XML file for every 20 000 lines.
The sheets are numbered as follows. If there is less than 20 000 controllable transactions for a controllable transaction participant, only one Appendix will be created, and the number will be, for example, 9/0 (where 9 is the number of the transaction participant from the Report on Controllable Transactions and 0 is the mandatory sequence number for this Appendix). If there are more than 20 000 controllable transactions, there will be several Appendices. For example, there are 44 268 transactions; in this case, there will be three Appendices, two for 20 000 transactions and one for 4 268. The numbers of the Appendices will be, for example, 9/1, 9/2 and 9/3 (where 9 is the number of the transaction participant from the Report on Controllable Transactions and 1, 2 and 3 are mandatory sequence numbers for the three Appendices for this transaction participant).
  • Appendix: Information about Interdependency of Persons: one XML file for each interdependent controllable transaction participant. These XML files contain interdependency information.
  • Annex TP: one XML file for this document is at the end of the list and is unchecked for generation by default. For more information, see Annex TP.

Note: even if you chose not to merge similar transactions on the selection screen, the similar transactions will be merged in the generated output files.

Annex TP

If a company purchased goods, works, services or securities for the price that is lower than the standard price, or sold goods, works, services or securities for the price that is higher than the standard price as entered in Allowed Market Prices, then you must file an annex to the tax return that is called Annex TP. The Annex TP document consists of transactions with amounts of excess revenue or expenses. This table is created on the basis of transfer pricing data Therefore, the process may be as follows:

  1. A transfer pricing report is created. At this point, the user can generate Annex TP.
  2. An error has been found in the transfer pricing report. New versions are created for the report and Annex TP.

You can use the Transfer Pricing for Ukraine report to prepare the XML-based Annex TP file. To do that, follow the procedure:

  1. Open the report and make selections on the selection screen. You will be able to create an Annex TP in the following cases:
  • If you run the report for a Company Code and year for which there were no transfer pricing reports created

  • If you run the report for an already existing report. You can only create an Annex TP for the latest correction (with the highest correction number)

  1. Execute the report.
  2. Generate the XML file for the transfer pricing report. Select Annex TP. You can drill down to line items to modify amounts of excess revenue and expenses.

Activities
