Purpose
This report supports data migration for REA articles when the maintenance of an attribute is to be moved from recycling partner assignment to packaging assignment. When it is executed, REA articles can be selected based on certain criteria. Recycling partner and packaging must be specified. You can use indicators to select the migration direction and the attributes for the migration. The maintenance of the attribute can be moved either before or after the report is executed.

Features
Selection
The selection of a Material Number, Variant, Company Code, Country, and Sales Unit allows you to restrict the report to individual master data.
The assignment version is restricted using the Version Date. The Recycling Partner is used to select the respective recycling partner as source or target for the transfer of the attribute value. The Packaging is used to select the respective recycling partner-specific packaging assignment as source or target for the transfer of the attribute value.
The indicators in the Migration Direction group box can be used to select the migration direction (recycling partner assignment -> packaging assignment or packaging assignment -> recycling partner assignment) and to specify whether the source field is to be initialized after migration.
In the Article Attributes group box, you can select the attributes for migration.
The system does not make any changes in test mode.
If the check is deactivated, articles that are inconsistent can be changed also, or changes can be made that result in an inconsistent status.
Optionally, the adjustment of conditions can also be forced by selecting the Adjust Conditions checkbox.
The Trigger Workflow Event checkbox is only visible if REA Customizing has been set up accordingly. If the checkbox is selected, a workflow event for the business object REA_ARTICLE is triggered following each change.
Log Detail 1 displays a summary only. A log detail level > 1 displays the various processing steps as well.

Output
The result is displayed as a transient application log in a modal dialog box.
Activities
If you want to transfer the values from one attribute, you should select the articles using the selection criteria and then specify the time period, recycling partner, and packaging.
Next you must define the migration direction and initialize the source field after migration for a migration run.
Finally you select the attribute.
First run a test run, and after analyzing the log, execute a production run.
Last, you should adapt the maintenance of the attributes in the recycling partner and check the success of the migration in the article dialog.
Example
You want to move the content ID key from maintenance in the recycling partner <rp> to maintenance in the packaging <V>.
- Enter the selection criteria and specify the time period.
- Define <rp> as the recycling partner and <V> as the packaging.
- Choose Recycling Partner -> Packaging and select the Initialize Source Field for Run checkbox.
- Select the Content ID Key checkbox and start migration.
- Deselect the Content ID Key Article checkbox in the recycling partner <rp>.
