J_7L_CORRECT_V03_VPART_HDLST - Corrects Inconsistent Entries for Packaging Type/Trade Level

Purpose

The program corrects data in the REA packaging master that is the result of packaging maintenance prior to the implementation of the SAP Note 711386. The correction can be done manually in the dialog for each packaging or automatically by this program. In addition to the packaging type, the trade level is corrected too.

Integration

Prerequisites

You have authorization for the authorization object J_7L_INFC.

Features

Because the price calculation is not affected, updating the SD conditions is not necessary.

Propagation of the values to articles is also deactivated because the changes are irrelevant for articles. Change documents are created. If one record is affected, the records of all recycling partners of the same packaging get an update on the administrative fields (Last Changed On, Last Changed At, Last Changed By), which is indicated in the change documents too. Change documents are easily identified by the transaction code, which is different from J7L6 (usually SEU_INT).

Selection

The selection parameters allow you to enter the affected recycling partner/country and restrict the selection to certain packagings. If you do not restrict your selection, all packagings are processed. If the Test Mode indicator is set (default), no changes are actually made but only simulated.

The Trigger Workflow Event indicator is only visible if REA Customizing has been set up accordingly. If the indicator is set, a workflow event for the business object REA_PACKAGING is triggered following each change.

Standard Variants

Output

All updates are synchronous, so there may be a delay between execution and receiving a result. The result is displayed as a dialog box containing a tree-like structure of the SAP application log. The log info is not permanent and is deleted when you close the dialog box.
