BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header data BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Purpose
You can use transaction/report MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT for the following purposes:
- To synchronize Business Partner data to a Customer and/or Vendor/Supplier.
- To create or update general data, addresses, role data, bank details, payment cards, industries, relationships, tax details etc., of corresponding customers or vendors/suppliers of a Business Partner.
Integration
Prerequisites
- The relevant checks need to be performed.
- The relevant Customizing entries need to be maintained.
Features
The following features are available for transaction/report MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT.
Selection
You can enter data to the following boxes and fields on the entry screen:
- Synchronization Process
In this box, you can select the Source Object and Target Object.
- Customizing Synchronization
In this box, you can choose from a list of the customized synchronization options.
- Processing
On this tab, you can specify various control parameters
- Block Size
- Queue Name
- Int. RFC. Dest.
Internal RFC Destination determines which internal RFC destination will be used by the transaction.
- Test Run
If this flag is set, the system then carries out a test run to check whether all the data can be transferred to the target database without errors. You can use the Postprocessing Officeto correct any errors that arise during the test run. To synchronize the data, you then must deselect the indicator and restart the synchronization run.
- Background Processing
- Max Processes
You can select a number of parallel processes in the background.
- Parallel processing enables the workload to be distributed to several application servers, thereby considerably reducing the runtime.
- If you enter a server group, the transaction is carried out within one work process and not distributed to others.
- Note that you need to enter values in this section only if you want to change the default values. Preferably use a smaller Block size (<50) for better performance.
- Selection Criteria for Source Object
- Synchronization Scope
You can select a relevant entry from the drop-down list.
- Range of Source Object
In the table, you can specify the Field Name, Incl/Excl, Option, and Upper/Lower Limitcriteria for the data records you want to synchronize.
- Upload Excel
You can upload SAP Business Partner data for synchronization from a local MS Excel file. For more information, see SAP Note 2399368.
- Download Template
The MS Excel file template can be downloaded with the SAP Business Partner data that can be uploaded for synchronization.
- Monitor
This tab displays the logs after execution.
You can select the entry and click Call PPObutton.
To see the status of the background jobs, select the entry, click the Queue button and choose Queue Monitor.
Standard Variants
Output
After synchronizing the data from the source object to the target object, the report displays the results on the Monitortab.
