Purpose

Conversion of scalar Workflow container elements that contain short material numbers (DIMP & non-DIMP).

Integration

Usage of workflow templates and tasks of SAP Business Workflow that contain material number information (DIMP & non-DIMP).

Prerequisites

Maintain table MFLE_WORKFLOW_WL in order to convert the scalar container elements containing the short material number.

Enter the following data:

  • Task (task or workflow template ID, full identifier)
  • Element (container element, technical name)
  • Old length (number of characters of old data type domain, e.g. 18)
  • New length (number of characters of new data type domain, e.g. 40)
  • Data element (underlying DDIC data element of scalar data type)
  • Converter type (currently only type '01' for short material number conversion is supported)

Example:

  • Task: TS00007951
  • Element: TS_MATERIAL
  • Old length: 40
  • New length: 40
  • Data element: MATNR

XPRA Log entries available for information or problems.

Activities

Execute report MFLE_XPRA_WORKFLOW as an XPRA in the downtime and before the upgrade. The report can be restarted at any time.
